Funeral Futurist is a specialized digital marketing consultancy serving independent funeral homes, cremation providers, and preneed organizations across North America. We combine deep funeral industry expertise with modern automation, AI, and performance-driven marketing systems.
We are expanding our marketing team in support of our third-party projects and are seeking an experienced Digital Marketing Specialist who is fluent in Go High Level and has hands-on experience using ZimmWriter.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys structured systems, measurable outcomes, and working within a niche industry where professionalism and empathy matter.
Core Responsibilities
You will be responsible for execution and ongoing optimization across several digital marketing channels, including:
Local SEO
- Google Business Profile optimization and ongoing management
- Local citation consistency and cleanup
- On-site local SEO coordination with WordPress-based websites
- Creation of content with the ZimmWriter app
- Monitoring rankings, visibility, and local search performance
Google Ads (Search)
- Campaign management and optimization (Search only)
- Keyword research, ad copy refinement, and Quality Score improvement
- Conversion tracking setup and performance monitoring
- Budget pacing and cost-per-lead optimization
Online Reputation Management
- Review monitoring across Google and other relevant platforms
- Responding to reviews using approved tone and SOPs
- Review solicitation workflows inside Go High Level
- Flagging and escalating suspicious or harmful reviews when needed
Social Media Marketing
- Coordinated posting to Facebook, Instagram, Google Business Profile, and Pinterest
- Working from content calendars and approved themes
- Light engagement monitoring and brand-consistent responses
Required Experience and Skills
This role has non-negotiable requirements. Please apply only if you meet all of the following:
- Demonstrated experience using Go High Level for marketing execution
- Campaigns, workflows, email, SMS, pipelines, tags, and reporting
- Hands-on experience with ZimmWriter
- Bulk content generation, structured outputs, and SEO-focused workflows
- Practical experience managing Local SEO and Google Business Profiles
- Experience managing Google Ads Search campaigns
- Experience with online reputation management systems and workflows
- Strong written English and professional communication skills
- Ability to follow SOPs, brand guidelines, and structured processes
Experience working with funeral homes, healthcare, legal, or other high-trust industries is a strong asset but not required.
